Product Overview
Newlook Capital Industrial & Infrastructure Services Fund III (“Fund III”) is a private-market investment fund focused on acquiring and scaling industrial and infrastructure services companies across United States and Canada. Fund III targets established businesses that provide recurring, code-mandated services in regulated and technically specialized industries (i.e. fire protection, wastewater treatment, plumbing, etc.). These recession resilient industries are critical to public safety and regulatory compliance, likely offering consistent demand and reliable cash flow through the economic cycle.
Investment Thesis
The investment thesis behind Fund III is built on the premise that many essential service businesses across North America remain highly fragmented and independently operated, often lacking the scale and resources needed to reach their full potential. This fragmentation leads to operational inefficiencies and significant growth opportunities. Newlook Capital seeks to capitalize on this by acquiring majority stakes, typically between 50%-70%, and partnering with existing owners to leverage their technical expertise while providing the capital, structure, and operational support needed to drive sustainable expansion through both organic growth and strategic add-on acquisitions.
Team
The industrial platform is led by Managing Director, Oliver Blum, and Manager of Industrial Fund Investments, Mike Harrison. Together, they bring extensive experience and oversee the fund’s acquisition strategy, portfolio integration, and operational performance across its holdings.
As part of Newlook Capital’s senior leadership team, Oliver works alongside Elroy Gust (CEO), Abbas Osman (CIO), Tony Diab (CFO) and Hass Keshavji (General Counsel) to provide the governance, financial discipline, and strategic oversight that support the fund’s growth. This cohesive leadership structure combines operational focus with institutional expertise, ensuring scalability, strong execution, and long-term value creation for investors.
